The LA Times deemed Timothy Hughes a "breakout star" for his work in the Tony and Grammy Award winning Broadway Musical Hadestown.
Most recently, Hughes appeared in Lin-Manuel Miranda and Eisa Davis' Warriors Concept Album for Atlantic Records.
On stage, Hughes performed in the hit revival production of Sweeney Todd starring Josh Groban and developed and originated the role of Pabbie in Disney's Frozen. Hughes made his B’way debut in Chaplin: The Musical, toured with Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, and has performed at regional theatres across the country including Goodspeed Opera, The MUNY, Music Theatre Wichita, Music Theatre West, St. Louis Rep, Cincinnati Playhouse, Geva Theatre, and Los Angeles Opera.
On screen, Timothy Hughes is best known for his work as The Strongman in the hit movie musical The Greatest Showman with Hugh Jackman and appeared in season 2 of And Just Like That.
He’s taught masterclasses with Open Jar Institute, Actor Therapy, Broadway Booker, Broadway Artists Alliance, Boom and established his owncareer training program “Performer's Puzzle”.
He is a proud graduate of NYU's Tisch School of the Arts.
